Our Vision

WE ARE HERE TO SERVE ANY FAMILY, WITH ANY CANCER DIAGNOSIS, AS BEST WE CAN.

FLATHEAD CANCER AID SERVICES’ MISSION IS TO HELP MEN, WOMEN, AND CHILDREN WHO ARE SUFFERING FROM ANY TYPE OF CANCER WITH DAILY, NON-MEDICAL NEEDS THAT ARE RARELY COVERED BY MEDICAL INSURANCE.

OUR GOAL IS TO OFFER FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR THE EVERYDAY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH CANCER TREATMENT INCLUDING GAS, TRANSPORTATION, HOUSING, FOOD, SUPPLEMENTS, AND DAY CARE.

Our community is very generous in aiding those facing a variety of needs, but through personal experience, founding FCAS board members recognized that many local cancer patients and their families often face unnecessary hardship. FCAS was created to be financial gap filler for them.

As cancer is often a family diagnosis, the challenges faced by the families tend to go beyond the health care. Frequently the time consuming treatment and healing process plays havoc with normal routine like putting dinner on the table, paying rent or having enough money for utilities.

The objective of FCAS is to work jointly with all the various non-profit agencies, individuals, and the medical community to identity and assist those experiencing the financial impact of a cancer diagnosis. Meeting basic living expenses and necessities such as food, rent and clothing will be the priority of the organization.

FCAS intentionally makes it a point to be inclusive of all cancers and all patients, as evidenced in the ribbon filled logo.
